WILDWOOD PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OPEN MEETING

September 24, 2010

The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors of Wildwood Property Owners Association was called to order at 7:30 p.m., September 24, 2010, in the Mill House. The presiding officer was Frank Morgan. A quorum was present, including the following:

Jim Horn, Jim King, Scott Becker, and Mickey Nash.

Chairman, Frank Morgan, called the meeting to order.

Ron Hoffpauir gave the opening prayer and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Business from Work Session:

Chairman, Frank Morgan, read the names of the At-Large Position #5 candidates are Greg Doerr and Tommy L. Hebert.

Chairman, Frank Morgan, requested a motion pertaining to the At-Large Position #5 appointment vacated by Roy Hancock. A motion was made by Jim Horn and seconded by Scott Becker to appoint Greg Doer to the At-Large Position #5 to complete the term of office, with results being 5 votes for Greg Doerr and 0 votes for Tommy Hebert. Motion carried.

Jim Horn gave the Oath of Office to Greg Doer.

Chairman, Frank Morgan, requested a motion pertaining to the Ad hoc Committee recommendations: (1) Bulletin Board suggested guidelines, (2) Lot Clearing suggested guidelines, (3) Garage sales, (4) Property Owner Manual change concerning Livestock and (5) Addition to Board Qualifications. A motion was made by Jim Horn and seconded by Jim King to table the recommendations and post them in the Business Office for one month to give the homeowners a chance to bring their comments to the committee. The recommendations will be voted on by the Board at the next meeting. Motion carried with one abstention.

Chairman, Frank Morgan, requested a motion pertaining to a request made by Aaron Cox to purchase a pre owned, in new condition John Deere TC125 Collection System for the cost of $4,500.00 for golf maintenance out of the capital fund. A motion was made by Greg Doer and seconded by Jim Horn to approve the purchase of the John Deere TC125. Motion carried with one abstention.

Chairman, Frank Morgan, requested a motion pertaining to a request made by Bill Sherrod to construct a Gazebo on Wildwood commercial property in memory of Sally Sherrod and in honor of Sara Johnson. A motion was made by Scott Becker and Seconded by Mickey Nash to approve the request to construct the Gazebo to be erected on the lake at the old restaurant site. This will be funded by Bill Sherrod and McNeil Johnson. Motion Carried.

Chairman, Frank Morgan, requested any additions or corrections to the minutes of the meeting on August 27, 2010. A motion was made by Scott Becker and seconded by Mickey Nash, to accept the minutes as presented. Motion carried.

Carla McKee gave the Facilities Manager's Report.

Carla McKee gave the Financial Report.

Miscellaneous Reports:

Aaron Cox gave the Golf Maintenance Report.

Carla McKee gave the Golf Pro Shop Report

Ashley Tipton gave the Security report.

Facilities Maintenance, Fire Department, Property Owners Manual Research and By-laws Ad hoc Committees had no report.

Standing Committee Reports:

Architectural Control - Jackie Davis reported the building plan submissions for the month of September were one new home construction on White Oak, changing a new home construction to face Button Willow, a circular driveway on Cypress Bend and two existing home sales.

Lakes - Dale Attaway reported the Lake samples came back with good results. The committee discussed plans for 2011 which is to purchase signs to replace the buoys in the lake, purchase covered garbage cans for the picnic areas, and spray the vegetation in the lake.

Budget and Finance - Chairman, Jim Horn reported that the first Draft for the 2011 Budget is a deficit of $60,000 and the committee has asked each department to reduce their budgets by the next meeting.

Nominating - Chairman, Betty Tupper reported the committee will be seeking a candidate to fill the vacancy on the Budget and Finance Committee left open by Greg Doer. Anyone interested in serving on this committee should submit their resumes to the Nominating Committee.

Election Committee had no report.

After the Director s Discussion and the 15 minutes to the floor, the meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
